ECOT History
Eswatini College of Technology (ECOT) was established in 1946 as a Trade School with two instructors offering carpentry and building to 24 male students.
1946
Established as a Trade School offering carpentry and building.
1960s
Renamed Swaziland Industrial Training Institute, introducing craft courses.
1974
Renamed Swaziland College of Technology (SCOT).
1988
Introduction of Diploma programmes and faculty structure.
1991
First Diploma Graduation Ceremony.
2013
First BTech Graduation Ceremony.
2019
Renamed Eswatini College of Technology (ECOT).
